Prophet Fufeyin of Christ Mercy Land Delivery Ministries is under investigation by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) over allegations related to the sale of unapproved “miracle products” such as Miracle Water and River Jordan Water. NAFDAC has sealed the factory involved in producing these products and warned that they are not registered or verified.
In a related development, prominent gospel singer Victoria Orenze has issued a stern warning to Christians about religious leaders who misuse their authority. Orenze criticized the commercialization of spirituality, urging followers to be cautious of leaders who exploit religious teachings for personal gain. She emphasized the importance of adhering to genuine Christian principles and avoiding those who use deceptive practices.
NAFDAC’s Director General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, confirmed that the products in question were not registered and were falsely marketed with claims of curing ailments and ensuring twin births. Despite efforts to investigate, the ministry’s representatives were uncooperative.
The ongoing investigation highlights concerns over the integrity of religious practices and the protection of public health.
