In a bid to motivate players, Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club Shooting Stars have announced a double bonus for players if they secure a win against Nasarawa United. The announcement was made by the club’s Chairman, Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, during a team address in Ijebu-Ode. Akoro highlighted the management’s commitment to player welfare and the support of Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde. The Oluyole Warriors are set to open their 2024-25 season against the Solid Miners this Sunday.

Enyimba Welcomes New Players

Enyimba, the nine-time NPFL champions, have welcomed two youth team players, David Eke and Orkuma Tobais, to their senior squad with first professional contracts. This follows the acquisition of 13 new players for the upcoming season. Enyimba’s first match of the season will be against Heartland at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Sunday.

Taiye Abdulateef Signs with Olympiacos
