Urgent Appeal: Financial Assistance Needed for Three-Year-Old Jeremiah Simeon
Mrs. Olorunda Precious, mother of three-year-old Jeremiah Simeon, is urgently seeking financial help to save her son, who has been diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), a serious congenital heart defect.
Jeremiah, who was referred to Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, has been experiencing frequent squatting and a bluish discoloration of his body. Investigations revealed he suffers from TOF, a condition that involves four heart defects affecting blood flow and oxygen levels, leading to severe breathlessness and cyanosis (bluish skin).
Experts advise that Jeremiah needs urgent heart surgery to repair the defect and improve blood flow to his lungs. The cost of the surgery and related medical expenses is estimated at N5 million.
Mrs. Precious, a small-time trader, has exhausted her resources on medications and hospital bills. She reached out to the Gifting Volunteer Network for assistance, highlighting the severe challenges she faces in managing her son’s condition and daily needs.
In Nigeria, many families struggle with the high costs of medical care, often leading them to seek external help when their financial resources are depleted.
