Bayer Leverkusen’s Sporting Director Addresses Victor Boniface’s Potential Move to Al Nassr
Bayer Leverkusen’s sporting director, Simon Rolfes, has spoken out about the speculations surrounding Victor Boniface’s potential transfer to Al Nassr in the January 2025 transfer window.

In his latest interview, Simon Rolfes acknowledged that there had been talks but emphasized that Boniface had trained with the team that day. Rolfes stated:
“There have been talks, but we are happy that he will be training with us today. I assume that he will stay. He feels comfortable here, his attitude towards the club is unchanged.”
This comment suggests that, despite the external interest, Boniface remains committed to his role at Leverkusen and is settled at the club. Al Nassr’s Deal with Aston Villa
Reports have also emerged suggesting that the deal for Victor Boniface fell through due to Al Nassr’s agreement with Aston Villa for their forward Jhon Durán. It is understood that the deal for Durán, which was reportedly valued at a higher cost than the proposed move for Boniface, took precedence in the eyes of the Saudi club.
