President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to depart Abuja for an official visit to Beijing, China, on August 29, 2024. According to a statement from Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, the visit will include a brief layover in the United Arab Emirates.
During his time in China, President Tinubu will meet with President Xi Jinping and engage with Chinese business leaders as part of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. The President will be accompanied by senior government officials.
