Chelsea Add Three Players to Europa Conference League Squad Ahead of Knockout Stages
Chelsea Football Club has officially made adjustments to its Europa Conference League squad, adding three key players ahead of the competition’s knockout rounds, which kick off in March 2025.
UEFA regulations allow teams to register three additional players for the knockout phase, and Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has decided to include:
- Cole Palmer 🏆 (Midfielder)
- Trevoh Chalobah 🛡️ (Defender)
- Mathis Amougou ⚡ (Forward)
Key Additions and Squad Changes
Cole Palmer, who was surprisingly left out of Chelsea’s squad during the group stage, has now been included. The 22-year-old playmaker has been one of Chelsea’s standout players this season, starting all 24 Premier League games under Maresca. His inclusion provides a significant boost for the Blues as they aim to lift the Europa Conference League trophy.
Mathis Amougou, Chelsea’s latest signing from St. Étienne, has also been added to the squad. The highly-rated young forward was brought in during the January transfer window and is expected to add depth to Chelsea’s attacking options.
