Comrade Salahudeen A. Lukman Issues Public Apology to Col. Nurudeen Yusuf Over Misinterpreted Letter
Comrade Salahudeen A. Lukman, a peace advocate, has publicly apologized to Col. Nurudeen Yusuf, the Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, following a misunderstanding related to a previous letter he wrote.
Lukman explained that his initial message, which was intended to highlight concerns about the alleged misuse of Col. Yusuf’s name by certain individuals, had been misinterpreted. He emphasized that the letter was never intended as a critique of Col. Yusuf himself but rather as a call for clarification on a matter that had caused confusion.
After receiving feedback from elders, traditional leaders, and activists, Lukman acknowledged the need to publicly address the situation. He took full responsibility for any misunderstandings that may have arisen and expressed regret for the controversy.
In his apology, Lukman praised Col. Yusuf for his positive contributions to Ibolo land and reiterated his commitment to supporting peace and development in the region. He emphasized that his focus remains on fostering unity and progress, expressing a deep desire to move forward with a spirit of understanding.
