Former England Manager Sven-Göran Eriksson Dies at 76

Former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has passed away at the age of 76. As the first non-British manager of the England national team, Eriksson led the squad to the quarter-finals in three major tournaments from 2001 to 2006.

Eriksson had been diagnosed with cancer and revealed in January that he had “at best” a year to live.

Throughout his career, Eriksson managed 12 clubs, including Manchester City, Leicester City, Roma, and Lazio, securing 18 trophies. He also served as the head coach for national teams such as Mexico, Ivory Coast, and the Philippines.
