Miss Universe Nigeria 2024: Chidinma Adetshina Wins Title

Chidinma Adetshina, a 23-year-old beauty queen from Taraba State, has been crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2024. Her victory comes after she withdrew from the Miss South Africa 2024 pageant amid a social media controversy regarding her nationality.

In a competitive finale, Chidinma emerged victorious over four other finalists: Miss Rivers State, Miss Anambra State, Miss Ondo State, and Miss Edo State. Her win not only earned her the prestigious title but also the grand prize of N10 million.

Chidinma will represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe pageant scheduled to take place in Mexico this November. Additionally, Miss Anambra State, who was the first runner-up, will participate in the Miss Supranational pageant.

In her acceptance speech, Chidinma Adetshina described the crown as a “call to action,” emphasizing her commitment to using her platform to make a difference.

The pageant, which highlights Nigeria’s diverse beauty and talent, showcased the exceptional qualities of its contestants and marked a significant achievement for Chidinma, who has now set her sights on international competition.
