Korede Bello has opened up about his departure from Mavins Records, where he was signed from 2014 to 2021. In an interview with Hip TV, he explained that his decision was driven by a need to reassess his personal growth and artistic purpose.
Bello shared that he felt he had become more of a product focused on financial gain rather than an artist with a meaningful creative vision. He said, “I was at a stage where I started to feel like a product that is just there to make money… You lose sight of what matters when you chase after the next hit.”
He emphasized the importance of introspection and self-discovery, stating that he needed to “metamorphose,” explore his inner worth, and reconnect with his artistic purpose.
