Bahd Guys Entertainment presents Falz’s latest single titled “Mercy,” marking his first official release of 2021. This new track follows his December 2020 single “Squander,” featuring Niniola.
About Falz: Nigerian rapper Falz, born Folarin Falana in 1990, is known for blending skillful rhyming with comedic elements. His breakout hit “Marry Me” from his 2014 album Wazup Guy established him as a rising star in the Nigerian music scene. Falz gained international recognition in 2018 with “This Is Nigeria,” a reworking of Childish Gambino’s “This Is America,” addressing corruption in Nigeria.
His career began with the 2009 mixtape Shakara: The Mixtape, and he continued to build his presence with singles leading up to his 2014 debut album Wazup Guy. Following this, he released Stories That Touch in 2015 and 27 on his 27th birthday in 2017. His 2019 album Moral Instruction further cemented his reputation.
“Mercy” Details: Released on July 29, 2021, “Mercy” is produced by Sess. The track continues Falz’s tradition of catchy, impactful lyrics with a blend of humor and sharp social commentary.
