The Lagos State Wastewater Management Office has taken action against two eateries for violating environmental regulations. On Monday, Cravings & More, located on Egbeda-Idimu Road, was sealed off for illegally discharging fats and oils into the public drainage system, causing blockages and health hazards due to foul odors and proliferation of maggots and houseflies.
Additionally, Donald’s Fast Food on Adebayo Doherty Street in Lekki was sealed on Sunday for noise pollution and other infractions, following multiple warnings and abatement notices. The Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, emphasized the state’s commitment to maintaining sanitation and hygiene standards.
